Anchorage firefighters respond to two structure fires overnight, no injuries

Some of Anchorage’s firefighters were pushed to the limit overnight, responding to two separate structure fires—just hours apart.

According to the Anchorage Fire Department, crews from A Shift used both of their sets of turnout gear—first during a fire just before midnight at a structure near Fairbanks Street, close to downtown.

Then, around 5:45 Tuesday morning, firefighters were called to a duplex fire on Rovenna Street…
