It’s a pretty normal thing to see trucks moving big pieces of equipment or other oversized loads in the Capital Region. It happens pretty often with our easy access to multiple highways that can take you north, south, east or west. What is a little out of the ordinary is the deja vu I’ve been having since last week watching gigantic beams traveling on Albany’s Washington Ave. Ext.

Where could a beam of this size be going? I did a little digging and came up completely empty as to where it’s heading, so if anyone knows please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
On Tuesday once again I saw these beams being moved in Albany. Now I still have no idea where they are heading, but there are some pretty common things they could be used for.
According to buy a beam the most common uses for these types of beams are bridge construction, structural steel frames, concrete reinforcement, and supporting floors and roofs…
