BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — As millions prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the California Highway Patrol will launch a statewide “Holiday Enforcement Period,” starting Thursday.
In an effort to crack down on dangerous driving and help prevent injuries and deaths on the road, the California Highway Patrol will be under maximum enforcement starting at 6:01 p.m., July 3, and continuing through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 6.
