UT board of trustees approve zero tuition increase, talk federal cuts and campus expansion

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee board of trustees met this week to discuss a wide range of topics–and ultimately decided not to increase tuition for students next year.

The board’s annual meeting was held in Chattanooga, where they discussed fundraising goals, millions in federal funding cuts, growing the Knoxville campus and priorities for the next three to five years.
