EVANSVILLE – To align with a new state law, the University of Southern Indiana is eliminating three degree programs and suspending another as universities across the state prepare to purge educational offerings.
The school will nix its bachelor’s of science in electronic business; its master’s of science in accountancy; and its associate of science degree in early childhood education.
Its master’s of arts in liberal studies, meanwhile, will be phased out. Any students currently pursuing the degree will be able to finish their work through what the Indiana Commission for Higher Education called an “orderly teach out.”…
