LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man is continuing a unique 4th of July tradition this year, by painting the grass outside his backyard with a giant American flag.
The 47×25 foot flag is located in the Wilderness Hills neighborhood on the southern edge of Lincoln, sitting in a common area between several houses.
Stan Roberts said this is the 5th year he’s organized the project, with the help of his wife and neighbors who put the whole thing together using miniature flags, lights and about $300 worth of spray paint…
