Teen and Two Adults Arrested After Police Chase Involving Stolen Vehicle Ends in New Orleans

In yet another display of technology intersecting with law enforcement tactics, a teenage driver and two adults found themselves in cuffs after a wild pursuit through the streets. According to a social media post by the Kenner Police Department, the incident began when a stolen vehicle was spotted by Kenner’s FLOCK camera system. The situation escalated when the 16-year-old driver, accompanied by two adults and an unrestrained 1-year-old child, decided to flee from the cops.

With commendable efficiency and, some might say, sheer luck, the multi-agency chase led by Kenner PD, with the Louisiana State Police and NOPD in tow, came to a halt at the intersection of N. Tonti and A.P. Tureaud Streets in New Orleans. Remarkably, no one was injured during the pursuit, which isn’t always a given in these high-adrenaline scenarios.
