Two separate homicide investigations launched by Albuquerque police

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a death in northeast Albuquerque. APD has closed Eubank Blvd. and Menaul Blvd. while officers investigate this death. Police say a separate homicide investigation is also underway in southeast Albuquerque near Kathryn and Madeira.

Police say initial reports came in that an individual was struck by a vehicle and deceased in the roadway at Menaul and Eubank. They say investigators identified additional injuries that are not consistent with a crash. APD has launched a homicide investigation. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Police say a separate investigation is underway near Kathryn and Madeira in southeast Albuquerque. Officers located one person on scene who was dead with gunshot wounds. A homicide investigation is underway…
