In-coming Superintendent Dr. Matthew Strom aims to boost Mesa Public School’s graduation rate and student proficiency in English, science and math by 5%.
The MPS Governing Board last week unanimously approved 13 performance goals recommended by Strom, who will take over the leadership position July 1 from Dr. Andi Fourlis, who retires June 30. Fourlis was not present at the meeting.
“The pay performance goals have been in development for the last three months,” Strom explained June 24. “This is a finalized version after several conversations with individual board members.”…
