MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Three riders in Madison County were hit, killing two, after a dump truck crossed into the opposite lane and crashed on Tuesday, July 2. The third cyclist and the driver left the scene with minor injuries.
The two cyclists who died were Jacob Hill, 32, and Leonard Antonelli, 27, both of Asheville, according to 1st Sgt. Scott Smith with North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The third cyclist hasn’t been identified yet.
