NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Two men were arrested in mid-June after a search warrant on a North Charleston property revealed copious amounts of drugs and weapons, according to an incident report from city police.
Zaquan Tyanthony Way, 33, was charged with trafficking crack and trafficking cocaine for his suspected role in the operations. Meanwhile, Brandon Brown, 30, was charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and felony possession of a firearm, the North Charleston Police Department reported.
Police narrative suggests that on June 16, a narcotics and intelligence investigation led law enforcement to a residence on Florida Avenue in North Charleston, where they discovered Way and Brown standing near a black Chrysler 200 parked in front of a shed on the property…
