MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – A grandmother in South Carolina is facing charges for allegedly telling her granddaughter to “swim for help” in dangerous waters after they got stranded on jet skis.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Anne Lachell Sellers is charged with unlawful conduct toward a minor.
The S.C. Highway Patrol and Department of Natural Resources will be out in full force over the holiday weekend looking for drunken and distracted drivers and boaters.
