GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Toyota electric vehicle battery plant, located at the Greensboro-Randolph megasite, has hit a major milestone — the site has started shipping batteries for the first time.
The batteries are going to Toyota’s assembly plant in Alabama, where they will be installed in Corolla Cross Hybrids.
