Oak Ridge Police Department officer indicted on 23 counts of official misconduct: DA

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) – An Oak Ridge Police Department officer has been indicted on 23 counts of official misconduct, according to a news release from the seventh judicial district attorney’s office.

The indictments, centered on Officer Zachary Gauthier, came from an Anderson County Grand Jury, the release said.

“This matter arose from complaints within the police department. The Oak Ridge Police Department contacted District Attorney General Clark for an independent investigation of the allegations,” the release said, referring to Dave Clark. “Following that investigation, the case was presented to the Anderson County Grand Jury which has returned indictments against the Defendant.”…
