Lexington man reportedly passed out in running car with heroin, Xanax in pocket

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington man is accused of passing out behind the wheel of a running car with drugs in his pocket Tuesday evening.

An arrest citation noted that around 7:50 a.m., Alex Bryan, 40, was seen reportedly on Members Way, passed out with his foot on the brake of a running car in gear.

During the encounter, the police said Bryan was found with two blue pills believed to be Xanax in a plastic bag in his pocket. In the same pocket, the police claimed they also found a white block that was said to be heroin.

After continuing to search Bryan and the vehicle, the authorities said more than $7,000 was found along with a large amount of plastic bags, a scale, and numerous folded lottery tickets believed to facilitate selling drugs.

Lexington police said that Bryan didn’t have proof of insurance at the time of the arrest, and he was found guilty of driving on a DUI-suspended license in 2024. In 2016, he was also found guilty of trafficking heroin…
