LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – It’s a growing issue in Louisville: violent crimes involving young people. Throughout June, the Louisville Metro Police Department has reported numerous times on teens breaking the law. They have been charged for a number of offenses, including burglaries, drive-by shootings, and, in some cases, even murder.
The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) said it’s seeing a spike in children and teens committing violent crimes, and they’re asking for the community’s help in reducing the violence.
