(KRON) — A convicted felon was found passed out in a running car at a gas station pump with a knife and suspected narcotics in his lap, said the City of Brentwood Police Department.

Brentwood PD said its officers were dispatched at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to a Rotten Robbie gas station after being alerted by an off-duty police officer. Police discovered the man, identified as 30-year-old Michael Sanchez Gardner, “slumped over in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running. In plain view, officers saw a knife and drugs.”
Police said Gardner was also caught with an un-serialized firearm, commonly known as a “ghost gun.”
Gardner was arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. He faces several charges including being a felon in possession of a firearm, drugs and other related charges…
