Two men convicted of fatally shooting pregnant woman at her south Toledo home

TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County jury convicted two men on Wednesday for the fatal shooting last year of a pregnant woman who was nearly due.

Paris James and Jerry Scott were each convicted on 13 counts each of charges including aggravated murder, murder, aggravated burglary, felonious assault and tampering with evidence for the south Toledo homicide of Tameisha Price, 34, and her unborn child in the early morning of Jan. 24, 2024.

James, 37, and Scott, 28, are both scheduled to be sentenced on July 28…
