CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — After nearly two decades of service, Clint Twedt-Ball, the co-founder and Executive Director of Matthew 25, has announced his decision to step down from his role on July 15. Twedt-Ball, who co-founded the nonprofit organization with his brother Courtney Ball in 2006, has been a pivotal figure in supporting Cedar Rapids’ core neighborhoods through various challenges, including floods, a pandemic, and a derecho.
“When Courtney and I started this organization in 2006, we never could have imagined the amazing things that have happened,” Twedt-Ball wrote in a letter to supporters. “Over the last nineteen years, we’ve gotten to know so many incredible people that care about the Cedar Rapids community.”
The Matthew 25 Board of Directors expressed their gratitude for Twedt-Ball’s years of service. Ryan Anderson, the Board President, said, “His passion for empowering others within the organization and out in the community through Matthew 25 programs has truly been a transformative process. We are proud of the work we achieve as an organization. While we will miss Clint’s leadership, we are confident that Matthew 25 will continue to champion strong neighborhoods in Cedar Rapids into the future.”…
