AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said in a Monday press release that it needs the public’s help identifying a driver who struck a 68-year-old man on the early morning of June 14.
The collision occurred in the 8100 block of Research Blvd. around 12:05 a.m. on June 14. The suspect’s vehicle, a “silver or gray” truck with a model year between 2010 and 2020, was traveling southbound when it struck the victim.
The driver did not call 911 or provide aid before leaving the scene, APD said. First responders took the victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to APD…
