BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A bomb threat at a local pharmacy on Wednesday morning led to a police response and an evacuation. Authorities confirmed that no explosives were found.
The Albany Police Department said it received the threat around 9:41 a.m. at John’s Pharmacy on Montpelier Avenue. Officers evacuated the building as a safety measure. Teams from the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Livingston Police Department secured the area.
The police department said no explosives or suspicious items were found during a search of the pharmacy.
