CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Lows tonight will be in the mid 60s.
The sunny skies we saw today will stay around through tomorrow. Temperatures will be in the mid to high 80s with lows overnight in the mid 60s and up to 70 degrees.
Thursday does have a slight chance of scattered storms. These will mostly affect our northern counties and only during the morning hours.
We will start to see temperatures rise into the 90s as we approach the weekend, with dew points back in the 70s. Heat indices will be in the mid 90s.
Looking at the Fourth of July, we will start the day sunny. Highs will be in the low 90s with dew points in the 70s. There is a very slight chance of some afternoon showers, but most of the showers are expected to push off into the late overnight hours. Hopefully, this will give us a dry day for any plans you have and allow the fireworks shows to go on.
