AUSTIN, Texas — The Star Spangled Fest is set to kick off Independence Day celebrations a day early in Austin, promising a fun-filled event with live music, food, games, and more.
Teri Smart shared details about the festival, highlighting its family-friendly atmosphere. “Star Spangled Fest is a two-day celebration. It was just too big to do it in one day! We’re going to kick off the night of the 3rd, actually, with an Independence Eve concert party over at the Long Center with favorites from the Texas music scene.” she said.
“We’ve got artists and veterans coming in on the 3rd, and that’s super fun. Then the next morning, we’re going to roll into the morning, spin with Mushroom Cowboy and Concourse Project. So we’ll be down on the shores with house music at 10 a.m. and just having fun and dancing. And then at 5:00PM, we’re going to open up the shores again and bring out the bands and the fireworks!
Attendees are encouraged to plan ahead for parking and to bring essentials like sunscreen and water. Alcohol is not permitted in the park, but will be available for purchase along with lots of food options from local food trucks…
