Kingsgate Center Welcomes Salata With Tasty Options And A Cause

Today’s the big day, Lubbock! Salata—the fresh, fast, fully customizable salad kitchen—is officially open in Kingsgate Center North at 7530 82nd Street, Suite #100. And this isn’t just any grand opening…this one’s got heart!

Donating to CASA

To celebrate their first day in the Hub City, Salata is donating 25% of all proceeds from today only to CASA of the South Plains, the nonprofit that helps advocate for kids in foster care. That means every salad, wrap, and sip of fresh tea you buy is helping children right here in our community.

And Salata isn’t holding back on the grand opening goodies, either. The first person in line gets a free swag box, and they’ll be handing out BOGO vouchers and t-shirts throughout the day. Doors opened at 10:45 a.m., and the celebration keeps rolling until 9 p.m. tonight.

Salata’s Concept

If you’ve never been to Salata, here’s what makes them stand out: It’s a fully built-to-order salad and wrap kitchen where you call the shots. Start with one of five salad bases, then pile on more than 50 toppings, and finish it off with one of their house-made, gluten-free dressings. You can even add premium proteins—and yes, there are plenty of vegan and gluten-free options.

Their whole concept is simple: “Your salad is what you make it.” They want you to walk in and feel like you can build exactly what you’re craving, with zero restrictions. Whether you’re counting carbs, dodging gluten, or going full carnivore—Salata’s got your back…
