ALTON — A woman from Alton succumbed to her injuries after a single-vehicle car crash in St. Louis early Tuesday morning.
According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 44-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Interstate 64 at Big Bend Boulevard in St. Louis at 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, then went off the right side of the roadway and hit a guardrail.
The woman was then transported to Barnes-Jewish Hospital by the Richmond Heights Fire Department, where she was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m…
