HOUSTON (KIAH) – A man has been arrested and charged with capital murder after confessing to fatally shooting two men during their morning walk in southwest Houston, police say.
Charles Lopez is now in the Harris County Jail. Houston police say they pulled him over in a vehicle that matched the description of one seen near the crime scene.
The double homicide happened Friday at Wildheather Park. Officers say Lopez waited for the two victims, then shot them multiple times. Investigators have not yet said if Lopez knew the victims or what the motive might be…
