Man Suspected of Arson Apprehended in Waipahu after Moped Traffic Stop, Honolulu Police Report

The Honolulu Police Department reported that a 36-year-old man was arrested in connection with arson-related incidents in the Waipahu area. He was stopped for a traffic violation on Monday, and officers found the moped’s Vehicle Identification Number was defaced. He was arrested for Defaced Serial Numbers of a Moped, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department.

A man is facing arson charges for an incident last Saturday, where he allegedly used a Molotov cocktail to start a fire. He is also a suspect in a separate arson case from June 20, which is being investigated as Arson in the First Degree.
