OXON HILL, Md. (DC News Now) — Families took to the streets with community leaders in Prince George’s County to talk about their concerns. From trash to crimes, they want to know more about solutions.
Dozens turned out Wednesday evening for the community walk in Oxon Hill at the intersection of Iverson Street and Southview Drive, including Precious Barnes, who lives in Oxon Hill.
“We live on a very busy street, so I am concerned about speeding, and concerned about playgrounds for our children, so those are the issues I want to speak to our leaders about,” Barnes said.
