BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Emergency crews have been called to an area north of Hart Park for a report of an aircraft that went down Thursday morning.
A call went out with reports of the possible aircraft crash at around 6:45 a.m. in an area near Round Mountain Road and Eastmont Road.
A 17 News photojournalist reports a small aircraft was down and damaged in the hills. Rescue crews were at the scene. An medical helicopter was about to take a patient to a hospital for treatment.
