The City of Raleigh has changed the location of its July 4th fireworks show, now moving the celebration to the stadium complex near the Lenovo Center and Carter-Finley Stadium.
This year’s event will be all about the fireworks, no stage, vendors, or festival activities. The city says it’s aiming for a more focused, family-friendly display.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Parking opens at 6 p.m.
- Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
- The event is free and open to the public.
Where to Park:
Free parking will be available at the following locations:
- Lenovo Center lots
- North Carolina State Fairgrounds Bunn Field lots (along Trinity Road)
- Carter-Finley Stadium lots
Note: There will be no shuttle services this year.
What You Can (and Can’t) Bring:
You can bring:
- Lawn chairs or blankets
- Snacks and refreshments
- Tailgating supplies (as long as you only use one parking space)
Leave these at home:
- Pets
- Personal fireworks
- Anything that takes up multiple parking spots (no sprawling tailgate setups)
Arrive early, get a good spot, and enjoy the show!…
