Hungry for pizza? Dickson County’s pizza options are expanding with the opening of 055 Pizza on S. Main St. in historic downtown Dickson. Along with serving northern tavern-style, edge-to-edge pizzas, 055 Pizza also hopes Dickson dives into their chicken wings, salads, subs and loaded waffle fries.
A sister location to 029 Pizza in Burns and serving as a ghost kitchen for One19 Downtown Dickson brewery, the small but mighty pizzeria has taken off with a strong start and proving third time’s a charm.
055 came together through the efforts of co-owners and best friends Morgan Kincaid Chandler, who co-owns 029 Pizza and One19, and Michael Shepard, owner of Your Vibes Entertainment. The current home of 055 Pizza used to house Desert Rose Cantina and Duke’s Downtown Dickson, both co-owned by Chandler and her father Richard Kincaid. After the southwestern food and the upscale meat-and-three didn’t take, they both observed the success of 029 Pizza and needed to upgrade kitchen at One19. Chandler and Shepard put their heads and their taste buds together – and 055 Pizza was born…
