Fire at Big Boy Restaurant in Battle Creek quickly contained, no injuries reported

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — No injuries were reported after a Big Boy Restaurant in Battle Creek caught on fire Thursday.

At around 10:20 a.m., the Battle Creek Fire Department (BCFD) responded to a structure fire at Big Boy Restaurant on West Columbia Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building, and restaurant staff were evacuating occupants.
