Local rapper’s murder case heads to grand jury; bond set at $5 million

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The case of a local rapper connected by fingerprints and witnesses to a deadly shooting at a Frayser gas station will move to a grand jury for possible indictment.

Andre Scott, 19 — also known as Boo TwoGunz — is being held on $5 million bond, charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of robbery.

Scott is charged in a May 18 shooting at a gas station on Range Line Road, where they found Keyshun Thomas suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital but later died from his injuries.
