PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — As Floridians prepare to celebrate Independence Day with backyard barbecues and booming fireworks, officials are reminding the public that with the fun comes serious risk.
The Fourth of July is one of only three days each year when setting off consumer fireworks is legal in Florida. But fire officials warn that improper handling can quickly lead to injury or disaster.
