Mailing fireworks is illegal and dangerous, USPS reminds customers ahead of Fourth of July

With Fourth of July celebrations approaching, the United States Postal Service is sending out timely reminders that fireworks are not allowed in the mail system.

A USPS news release warned customers not to put fireworks of any kind – including sparkers, firecrackers, bottle rockets and Roman candles – in the mail.
