A construction worker was left in serious condition following an incident at the TSMC plant in north Phoenix. On Monday, June 30, the Phoenix Fire Department responded to an emergency call at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, situated near 43rd Avenue and Loop 303, where they found the worker suffering from injuries, as reported by FOX 10 and ABC15.
Although details on the cause of the incident remain sparse, the worker is said to have sustained serious injuries with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company confirming the worker had broken bones, TSMC released a statement which mentioned, “This afternoon an Arizona site construction worker was in an accident and suffered broken bones. This person was treated on scene and promptly transported to the hospital for further treatment,” FOX 10 reported.
The Phoenix Fire Department gave no comments on what might have precipitated the injuries but they have mentioned the severity of the injures which required urgent care and swift transport to hospital for the worker, the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health has been contacted by ABC15 to determine whether an investigation will be launched but has not provided a response at this time…
