AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – Akron Police body camera video shows the urgency used by police and paramedics to get a toddler to the hospital after the little boy was hit by gunfire. You hear a 911 Dispatcher tell police, “Help them get to the hospital, it’s busy. Clear the intersections for them.”
The 2-year-old child was inside a home on Hyde Park Avenue when he was struck by a bullet back on April 2nd.
