Local man sentenced following a high-speed escape from a border checkpoint

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Lancaster man will spend six months in prison for high-speed escape from border checkpoint.

Da’Ron Lipscomb, 33, received his sentence Thursday in U.S. District Court for an incident that happened on June 26, 2024. That’s when, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he approached the primary inspection booth at the Peace Bridge.
