Charleston man charged with shoplifting, accused of impersonating an officer

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The North Charleston Police said they have arrested a man for shoplifting after he was accused of impersonating a federal agent.

Gavin Generius Brown, 41, is charged with shoplifting.

Police spokesman Harve Jacobs said officers responded to the Stafford Commons Apartments on Wednesday around 5 p.m. about a man impersonating an officer.
