DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Police Department has just confirmed it placed a lieutenant on administrative leave earlier this year for his alleged involvement in a possible theft incident.
According to the DPD, several employees made allegations against Lt. Jeffrey Thomas on Monday, May 26, for his involvement in a possible theft incident.

Officials said Thomas was relieved of duty that very evening. He was placed on administrative leave pending the results of the Professional Standards Bureau’s administrative investigation.
