Stopped train blocks traffic for hours on South Anthony Boulevard

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A train blocked the road near a Fort Wayne intersection for several hours Thursday.

A train was sitting on the South Anthony Boulevard tracks near Wayne Trace starting around 9 a.m. Norfolk Southern confirmed the crossing was “blocked by a team who is building their train out of the yard,” and that it was expected to be moving again by about 1:45 p.m.
