BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has shut down a road in southern Brunswick County due to a wreck involving a dump truck.
According to BCSO, the wreck occurred at the 400 block of Pea Landing Road.
The NC State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) told WECT a call came in around 3:30 p.m. about the crash. NCSHP states the truck was traveling north on Pea Landing Road near Clarida Lane when it ran off the road to the right. The driver overcorrected, came back onto the roadway, and rolled over.
