DES MOINES, Iowa — At least two mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus this year, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) says.
One was found in Polk County, the other in Black Hawk County, according to the state’s weekly report about diseases transmitted through bites from insects like mosquitoes, ticks and fleas.
