Arrests made in Lubbock car thefts linked to Cantu Towing

LUBBOCK, Texas–Two men have been arrested after a Lubbock Police Department investigation into car thefts connected to Cantu Towing.

EverythingLubbock.com reached out to LPD for a comment and they confirmed that a search warrant was issued Thursday on Cantu towing, along with arrest warrants for Jerry Cantù and Joshua Vidales, both of whom were taken into custody.

Cantu’s warrant was for a theft charge, but he also has citations for parking/standing/stopping in a prohibited area and for failure to show proof of a rabies vaccination for a pet.

Cantu was also charged with possession of a controlled substance during his arrest…
