CORVALLIS, Ore. – A major water pipeline upgrade is set to begin this summer in Corvallis. According to the City of Corvallis Public Works Department, the project will replace a vulnerable pipeline with a larger, earthquake-resilient version.
The existing 20-inch pipe, which crosses the Marys River via the 4th Street bridge, will be replaced with a 42-inch underground pipeline. This upgrade aims to enhance the city’s water infrastructure.
