Gastonia man accused of selling meth and guns out of his home: County Police

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Gastonia man has been arrested after Gaston County Police say he was selling drugs and guns out of his home.

On May 22, the GCPD Emergency Response Team, with a warrant, searched the home of 41-year-old Steven Lamar Snider, seizing both methamphetamine and firearms. Snider was not home at the time and was considered a wanted fugitive.

3 Charlotte men indicted on charges related to the theft, sale of luxury vehicles worth more than $5 million

Early the morning of July 3, the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force found Snider and arrested him. Snider is charged with:

  • Three counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
  • Possession of a Stolen Firearm
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine
  • Manufacture Methamphetamine
  • Maintain a Dwelling for Controlled Substances

Snider is currently being held at the Gaston County Jail without bond…
