State gives millions to Marion County for water project

LOWELL, Fla. — People living in Lowell are one step closer to cleaner water. Marion County received $2 million from the state to go towards its Lowell municipal water project.

Marion County is working on implementing a 12-inch water line extension with valves, fire hydrants and a water booster station for residents and commercial businesses in Lowell community.
