PM storms possible, active weekend ahead

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Isolated showers and storms have already developed this afternoon between I-95 and the coast.

Severe weather is not expected, but isolated flooding will be possible midafternoon into the evening. Highs will still reach about 90 degrees, feeling even warmer during the afternoon hours. These showers will linger into the evening, losing energy after 8PM.

The Fourth of July will be a bit warmer with highs in the lower 90s. If you have the Fourth of July off work, be sure remain hydrated and wear sunscreen if you have extended outdoor plans! Isolated afternoon showers and storms will once again remain a possibility from lunchtime into the late afternoon, but most of the evening fireworks shows across the area should be able to go on as planned…
