SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — We’ve all heard the warnings: never leave kids, pets or anyone else in a hot car with the windows rolled up and the engine turned off. It can be very dangerous. But just how dangerous can it be?
WSAV’s Hannah Evans sat in a car for nearly half an hour with the windows rolled up and engine off. Her blood pressure was monitored by a trained firefighter at different intervals.
In the summertime heat, the car would get hotter than the actual temperature outside, but just how hot did it get?…
