No One is Above The Law! Except Attorneys in a Massachusetts Courtroom

Attorneys in Massachusetts have absolute immunity called “litigation privilege” which protects them when they unfairly lie in a court proceeding. This absolute immunity shields them from lawsuits and damages no matter how much harm their lie causes.

Of course, the reason for this is because most officials in the legislature are attorneys, so it should be no surprise that they continually write laws that exempt themselves from consequences that the rest of us must face when engaging in such behavior.

There is no legitimate purpose served by granting attorneys litigation “immunity” either absolute or qualified. It is an unjustified protection for the unworthy. Litigation immunity undermines the legitimacy of the country’s legal process and constitutional protections of litigants in court…
